Rosie, a black and white tuxedo cat, was discovered wandering around a local Mexican supermarket in El Monte. After a visit to the vet, it was discovered that she was deaf and not bothered by loud noises. Given her sweet disposition and lack of fear towards humans, it is believed that she was most likely abandoned.

Stray Paws stepped in to help by spaying and vaccinating her. Despite her congenital physical anomaly,
poly-dactyl, which caused her to be born with more than the usual number of toes, Rosie is a social butterfly with humans. However, she does not get along with other feline companions and would do best in a single-cat household.
The vet estimates that she is between 2-3 years old. Rosie is now available for adoption and can be seen at the local Petsmart in Rosemead. Contact Furever Companions for more information.
